As
you know, ISO 9001 standards are
reviewed and revised on a
periodic basis to ensure that
they are changing and improving
in response to user feedback and
trend sin the market place.
ISO 9001 has issued anew
revision to the standard known
as ISO 9001:2008. This
modification or amendment
instituted no new requirements
or documents in your movement
system. Most changes were
for alignment with ISO 14001 and
to improve clarity. AudIT3
has implemented the following
transition procedure.
No
new certifications to ISO
9001:2000 will be issued after
November 14, 2010.
Although new certifications
prior to that date may be
granted, we strongly encourage
all new clients to certify to
the 2008 version. All
previously issued certificates
to the 2000 version will expire
on November 15, 2010.
Current certificates can be
upgraded by completing a
surveillance assessment before
November 2010. |
